PLEASE HELP!!! I don't know what 1+3= please help!?

Everybody in my preschool class say its easy but its not! plz help. PS i am 4 yrs old =)

everyone in my preschool class says 2+2 is easy but i am just SO confused. i mean how can 2 plus 2 equal 4 if 5-1=4 and 3+1=4 and 2x2=4 and 10-6=4. How i ask you, how??????

This is not as easy as it looks.  Your preschool class just memorized the answer and never really worked it out.  

Take the coefficient of the first element (1) plus the coefficient of the second element (3) and the coefficient of the solution, which we will call x(c).  If we allow the calculus of the variable property of quantum uncertainty and apply it to the first element, we get an approximation.  Let's call that approximation h/< (pronounced "h-bar").  With h/< nearing the lower limit of the Planck constant, we can now calculate the second element without limitation.  Thus, after applying Einstein's less famous equation of A+B=C, we realize that the more precisely we fix the value of x(c), the less we know about the ininital intent of the linear equation.  As a sort of ball park estimation of the first perturbation, the answer, as a first try, is Chattanooga, but the question could be anything.
