Hey everyone! Can you give me 3 solutions to this, and tell me if it was hard or easy? I found it on line and I was wondering about it. But no solutions,no best answer. Here's the article:

Albert Einstein was bright, even as a child. It is reported that when he was six years old, someone asked him if he could place plus and minus signs between the digits

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

so that the answer on the right would be 100. The digits had to appear in consecutive order.

Allegedly, Einstein wrote out:

1 + 2 + 3 - 4 + 5 + 6 + 78 + 9 = 100

Which was a correct solution. Can you find any other solutions?

That was the article! Don't you think that he was really smart? Weird, isn't it?

  1. Hmm I did it just now but only managed to get to 96, so close.

I'm working on it now, it's annoying me now, I have to do it lol

  2. Sounds unlikely. Einstein was famous for being very bad at mathematics.
