PLEASE HELP ME! I HATE YAHOO ANSWERS!!!!?

Question

How come everytime i ask a question, when i go to the category i asked it in, it never shows up??

i'll be suprised if this question shows up!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i never get any answers!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

You may not have checked the right category, or clicked on submit Now this one has appeared therefore you have an answer now.

Well you need to know so many questions get posted it takes awhile to show up and it may have posted but is buried before you look for it.  Also you may have spammed out Yahoo answers and your not seeing your responses..

just watch out for the oops thing when answering questions, that gets confusing and frustrating sometimes.

could also be y/a could never find a category for it, other than that, have no idea

Sometimes it just takes awhile to show.

Well, it could be that it takes some time for your question to process and show up in the list, and if you're checking immediately after posing it, it is possible that it just hasn't show up yet...or something.

Or perhaps it recognizes that you were the author of the question and keeps it hidden.

I'm sorry, I really don't have much of a certifiable answer for you.

You have to click on the button which asks you whether to notify when you receive an answer or not.

try that and you will receive your answers to your question.

Don't get anxious for small things.

Yahoo is having problems but there are a few things you can do to make it better for yourself.

If Yahoo is your home page change it to something else.

Before you come here delete Cookies and Temp files in Internet Explorer.

Empty Windows Prefetch folder. Start> clk My computer>open C drive>open Windows>look for Prefetch folder, open it, Select All and Delete.

I think Yahoo!Answers shows the most recent questions by default. The inflow of problems each minutes seems quite large, and so perhaps your question has been pushed further down the list when you check. Of course, if you set YahooAnswers to list the questions by the number of responses they have received, you might be able to find your question. Often, it might be safer to post on other sites in conjunction with posting on Yahoo!Answers if you need help. For example, if you want maths help, perhaps visit www.mathnerds.com, etc... Otherwise, search online for some alternatives.

U must be doing something wrong cos this one worked fine. When the categories come up they firstly suggest a category and if you are happy with it don't change it but if not just click on the browse other categories part. Now ask the question you wanted before seeing as this worked for you. Mine always work and come up in the section I wanted so u shouldn't have any problems. Tick the box to ask that u receive an e-mail alert to say when an answer has been given as well.

You should go to "my profile" and look at your questions. It will show what category its been placed in and if you click on it, it will show you the answers you have.
