  1. considering tht im a shooting guard for my high school team ( i guess i wud count as an expert )

i usually shoot around 70-80% from a few feet inside the 3point line

and around 50% on 3 pointers, for the most part  (when guarded)

    the way i shoot is:

    elbow aligned with body

    palm off the ball

right foot slightly ahead of left

BEND MY LEGS (that is where most of ur power comes from)

KEEP FOLLOW THROUGH (it helps more then u think)

on my follow through my shooting hand is in the shape of a 'gooseneck' as i have heard it, or otherwise said as 'reaching ur hand in the cookie jar'

get a good amount of ARCH (flat shots dont have a good % of goin in)

BACKSPIN (get backspin on the ball by FLICKing UR WRIST)

    hope tht helped :)

  2. well uh... u just kinda told us the opposite of the tips...just do the opposite of u what do..(dont bump ur head with ur hand when u release, shoot with ur arm 90 degrees, let ur feet stay straight to the hoop, bend ur knees, and keep ur follow through....lol...)

  3. Youtube.com

    type ray allen

He has one of the best shooting form so just watch how he shoots and emulate him.

If that doesn't work for you try other players: Kobe, nash, Peja, Dirk, Reggie, Jordan....
