I know in middle school they probley don't do all those kinds of really good stunts or watever.

But im really nervouse about the auditions.

I always wanted 2 be 1.

And I REALLY hope i make it!

I cant do flips or anything like that tho...

So that makes me sad cuss i don't wanna be the only 1 there who cant and totally embarrese myself.

But on the other hand i don't even know if they even do stunts like flips and stuff.

But I really do wanna get in.

I am flexible 2 an extent.

Is there anything i can do 2 make me more flexible, etc?

And can peeps who are cheerleaders tell me wat peeps judge on 2 let u become 1?

I'm very bubbly, and not that shy.I luv being loud.

And Im a blonde.

  1. 1. Fix your grammar.

    2. Being blonde has nothing to do with being a cheerleader.

    3. Being loud and bubbly isn't what cheerleading is all about.

    4. You should be preparing months in advance for a tryout to see a significant improvement.

    My tips:

Being that it is middle school, it probably won't be that hard of a tryout.  Most middle schools don't allow many stunts for safety reasons; even in high school cheerleaders are restricted in stunts they can do.  I strongly suggest that you enroll in tumbling or gymnastics if you want to continue with cheerleading - cheerleaders don't just do "flips."  Again, in 8th grade you will probably only do cheers and start to learn the basic stunts.  Don't worry; you probably aren't the only one who has no experience.

If you get picked for the squad, they will teach you what you need to know; you just need to show that you are upbeat, outgoing (but not too preppy and annoying) and are willing to learn.  They need to know that it will be easy and fun to work with you and that you will be a positive force on the squad.

For the tryouts, show up on time and ready to go.  Try your best, be attentive, and ask questions if you are confused.  If you mess up, keep smiling and don't let it faze you.  They will probably teach you a routine quickly and you may not memorize it entirely - that is okay.  If when you tryout with your routine you forget a part, smile and try to get caught back up with the others.

If you are frustrated, don't show it.  If you get injured, tell the coach, but don't whine or complain.  Stay positive.

Cheerleading is not easy and not how it is made out to be in the movies.  Nonetheless, it is an amazing sport and you will form a deep bond with your squad.

I wish you the best of luck in your tryouts. :)
