PLEASE HELP! The other day i bought my first ps3, i set it up at my dads on an hdmi cable etc and all was..

..fine but now i am home and try it on an SDTV i get nothing on any av channel or any other channel? I have tried other guides on this to reset it or something? But none seem to work. Please remember when answering that i cannot get anything on the screen.. THANKS!

try using vcr use hdmi inputs from vcr to tv or cable cord for the vcr then hook the ps3's hdmi inputs to the back of the vcr and turn the vcr to its av channels if it doenst work then i dont know what to tell errr.... maybe your

tv's hdmi inputs are busted so definetly use the cable cord from the vcr to the tv and put the ps3's hdmi in the vcr correct hdmi inputs

you need to set this back to standard play and unfortunately you have to take it back to your dads and change it...

You need to connect it an hdtv again so that you can see the screen. Then go to display settings under settings and reset them as if you were using an sd tv without hi def cables. That way the ps3 will set its video output to the standard output and it should show up on your sd tv when you go back to it.

Try turning your PS3 on and holding tyhe power off button until it turns off, then turn it off at the back and unplug your PS3 (just pull out the power cord) for about 20 seconds. The plug it back in and turn your PS3 back on with the switch at the back. A message should come up about your TV's display settings, you should be able to configure it from there.

AHHHHHH. i get this aswell, in you ps3 settings there is a screen settings thing. check your manual. if you don't change this once you change t.v's then you will just get a black screen. you need to set it differently, go back to your dad's and change the settings then bring it back. that is what sucks about ps3's even though it  is the best console!!
