PLEASE HELP WITH MY IPOD!!!!?

Question

my ipod is being stupid! i am trying to dwnload music onto it from my pc, it knows its plugged in because the charge thingy, like the battery on the top says charged, but the computer isn't picking it up! Its supposed to be an icon on the side panel of itunes, but its not there! WTF!

To reset the ipod

hold down the play/pause plus

the center

Try unplugging it and holding down the top and center buttons until it resets.  I'm assuming it's not an iPod Touch?

reset it or it could b the cable like if its a belkin cable it wont work with comp
