Question

What makeup is good for a 16 year old junior to wear to high school? Please give me SPECIFIC products to buy (for example, MAC technakohl eyeliner in graphblack), since me and my daughter want to go out and buy these products.

My daughter has dark brown/black hair, dark brown eyes, and olive/tan skin.

Also if you could give a skincare routine for my daughter that would be very helpful. She has normal skin, with very bad dark circles, and freckles on one side of her face.

good for the highschool looks

I&#039;m not able to give exacts because I don&#039;t know what your daughter looks like but thse are the products you should get:

Eyeliner (I think black and dark green would look best based on her skin and eyes)

Mascara (Black)

Blush (Peaches look best on olive skin)

Concealer

Foundation

Powder

Lipgloss/Lip liner

If you go to any department store (Nordstrom is best) they will have a makeup section wit various counters and brands. From there, you can pick your best. The MAC counter at Nordstrom is my favorite, just talk to one of the attendants and he/she will be able to help you decide which colors to pick and which ones will be best to use (i.e. waterproof, smudgeproof, oil free, etc.)

My black circles went away when I stopped eating foods to which I was allergic. The blue circles went away when I changed boyfriends. It would probably not be a good idea to change makeup, or even to wear makeup, until your daughter&#039;s allergic shiners are dealt with. Take her to an allergist and have her tested.

After you are through with that, look up your Qixtar dealer in the phone book. Also known as Amway distributors. Ask about their hypoallergetic makeup. They make very high quality makeup that even I can wear. I would recommend the neutral shades, and anything with a blue undertone to it. Try turquoise clothing on your daughter; it will make that olive skin (like mine) light up and look absolutely golden. I use a light dusting of blush on my eyelids in place of shadow, and I use blue eyeliner. It really makes my light brown eyes pop. If you have bloodshot eyes, put a tiny dot of bright red lipstick in the inner corner of each eye. It will make them look clear.

Oh, also, have a dermatologist check out those &quot;freckles&quot; as they might turn out to be skin cancer if your daughter spends much unprotected time in the sun, or riding in a car with the freckled side nearest a window.
