I live in an apartment and there are many different kinds. I do not have pets or children so chemical remedies are not at issue, I need something quick, I am tired of being surprised and bitten.

  1. Go to Www.Hedgeapple.com they repel spiders.  Also anything that contains lavender or lemon repels spiders.    Good luck with controlling them.

  2. Get hold of a very powerful vacuum cleaner (like a Dyson) and hoover them up whenever you see them.  That may not get rid of all of them, but it'll thin out the numbers.

Also, try and find out where they're coming from.  If they're getting in from outside or from a neighbouring apartment then try to block up any gaps to keep them out.

  3. exterminater or raid the bug spray

  4. Ugh, I deal with that problem too. The best thing I've found is to use a bug bomb/fogger. You'll need to use it when you'll be out of the apartment for a while.

If you live on the first level, you can also buy an insect repellent spray for the exterior of the building. This is available in the home and garden section of most stores.

Also, try to avoid keeping piles of clothing or other clutter on the floor. They make great hiding places for spiders.

This is the fogger I've used:

  5. try a nuclear bomb! But the roaches might survive!!
