  1. Nausea takes awhile to go away after food poisoning.

First, calm down.  Throwing up and nausea cause anxiety but anxiety can make nausea worse.

Second, consider the BRAT diet -- Bananas, Rice, Apples and Toast.  This is the diet that most doctors will recommend during periods of digestive upset.

Another "cure" I've been told is to drink *weak*, plain black tea (like Lipton, nothing fancy) and eat only white toast, and not much of it.

    Good luck.

  2. oh yeah... had some pizza pizza chicken wings and bam... had to go to the washroom thought it was daihriea (how ever you spell it) then threw up and all was cool but it was nasty... my head hurted I was like sick... throw up once more and stop it... NEVER... drink water.. get some fresh air

  3. Eat yogurt or anything that is easy to digest.

  4. For nausea:  Room temperature water or flat ginger ale. To flatten the ginger ale stir it with a spoon until the bubbles disappear.  If it feels like a lot of stomach acid, try some Tums or Maalox or Pepto Bismol.  Drammamine is also good for decreasing nausea.  2 tablespoons of coke syrup over crushed ice works well and can be found at a local drugstore or supermarket as well as Emetrol.  Take it easy, get plenty of sleep (drammamine can help you fall asleep as well), and don't over-do trying to eat if you're not up to it yet.  Avoid cold drinks, and if you're going to drink soda flatten it first, the bubbles can upset your stomach more.  Good luck, I hope you feel better!

  5. You should drink a lot of water, but you definitely should call your doctor and talk to them, if you can't go to the doctor. They'll give you advice over the phone. Or you can call an on-call doctor. Both are free. good luck. feel better.

  6. Ok this is what you do take some asprin and sit down drink some ginger ale tip you head back and rub your throat.make sure you swallow it.Eat something small thats not greasy or that has alot of milk product in it .After drink water and do it again. This will help with vomiting if that doesntwork maybe you shouldd go to a doctor you could have tape worm in your stomach.HOPE THIS HELPS

  7. put ur finger down ur throat

  8. Since no one else has asked......Is there a chance you could be pregnant? ??  Sounds like morning sickness. I know you said food poisoning, but it could have just masked pregnancy symptoms.

  9. Hmm....  you should seek emergency attention and get bloodwork.  If that takes too long, gravol in IV form in emergency, and sugar/saline solution.

  10. The above suggestions are good, but you should really take the time to go to the doctor. You're doing some serious damage to your stomach by waiting it out. I realize you're busy, but this isn't something that should wait. Plus, you're probably not going to feel up to taking your midterms if you're still sick. Go see the doctor, please!
