  1. To find out your sound card model, download and install this program:

    http://www.hwinfo.com/download32.html

After you do, run it, and go down to audio. Copy the manufacture and model number and go to the manufactures website. Try and find a driver for it.

  2. you can try this ***

    right click on my computer*

    click on manage*

    click on device manager*

now anything with a yellow ? mark

right click on it and choose update driver*

when the hardware update wizard opens

choose the top option to connect to the net to search for the drivers just this one time ( ive never seen much luck with this option in windows Xp but its worth a shot )

or go to the home site of the people that make your model computer what kind is it?????

  3. there's a cd that comes with your motherboard. you must install it from that cd.....

  4. Since you probably have a name brand computer( dell, hp, etc...) go to their website type in your model number and find the card in the spec. sheets, then download the appropriate driver from their site.
