  1. Dutch rabbits typically weigh around 5lbs and are very friendly.  Their temperment is one of the nicest I have ever known.  And do not breed her until she is sexually mature.  This happens at around 6-8 months old.  If you have any questions on taking care of rabbits, feel free to e-mail me with them or just check out arba.net

  2. www.verlannahill.com/AboutDutch.htm  i think this will help

  3. dutch rabbits are no different from other rabbits so i can give advise to you about them:

    1.)feeding:

rabbits must be given right nutrition to keep them healthy.hay is a must everyday.pellets are given also.1/4 cups of pellets per day.greens are given at a very limited basis.once per day only.

    2.)housing:

it dpepends on the breed.but to generalize on them, rabbits are best kept inside.the rabbit cage must be provide a wide amount of space for the rabbit to move and hop around.they must be able to stand up nicely on the cage so it must be tall as well as wide too.

    3.)toys:

rabbits easily get bored and this reduces the life span for them.give them most baby toys.plastic at most.plastic keys are the best toys for them.

    5.)companions:

rabbits must not be housed together unless spayed/neutered.give them separate cages if they are not neutered.

    6.)BREEDING:

i have neither a grudge against breeding nor do i approve it.on rabbit breeding,be prepared to be able to give proper care and nutrition to the newly borns.to breed, you must place the female to the male's cage.never place the male on the female's cage as the male will just spend his time in sniffing the cage.also, the gap between breeding is every 2 months.rabbits must breed every 2 months in order to properly recover from the pain of breeding.never cross breed rabbits.leave that breeding to experts.

breeding is not a game,as i always say.

    i hope i helped!

p.s:rabbits live approximately 10 years.some may live up to 20 years.

  4. you feed her water lily.

  5. DONT breed her. you will only cause more rabbits in the world, when they are already the 3rd most abandoned animal in thw world, and youre not helping them

  6. 1. I have a dutch rabbit that I adopted. She is a lot sweeter then my lionhead.

    2. You should get it a rabbit harness to take it outside and def. some timothy hay and try not to give it to much alfalfa.

    3. You need to start litterbox training. Pay attention to which corner she uses to go potty and put the litterbox there.

    4. Don't breed. There are enough homeless rabbits as it is. I got mine because she was in rescue because the lady had over 300!!!!! free roaming rabbits that she was just letting breed and whatever.
