People had always told me I had a very deep voice, but when I recorded a video and heard it, it sounded like I had a nasal problem (Which I don't) And made me sound VERY STUPID. I'm embarrassed to talk now. When I listen to myself talk it sounds deep and normal. Which ones the correct sound? PLEASE HELP!

  1. The frequency of the phone or video or whichever you are listening to yourself through changes because of the frequency.

One rule to always remember is "two things can never be exactly equal." Your voice in reality will never sound what it sounds like through a recording.

  2. yeah just a shock

  3. It's normal  I sound like a young boy on tape and I am a grown  woman.  Feel lucky.

  4. everyones voice sounds different when recorded. i have a very deep voice as well but it sound different and a bit higher when recorded. you have nothing to worry about.

  5. Hearing your own voice  is always a shock the first time.  Don't worry about it.

  6. Don't go by the sound you heard on the recording.  I sound like a squirrel on a recording.  I know my voice does not sound like that.  Sometimes, when we leave a recorded message, we try a little too hard to make the message be understood by the other party & our voice does not come out as normally as it would otherwise.  If you just relax & talk normally, I doubt that you voice would have that much change to it.  Who cares, anyway?  It's YOUR voice.  If someone else doesn't like it - it's THEIR problem, not yours!  Have a Great Day!

  7. your fine ok ppl have differnt types god made u that way

  8. It's always different on a recording. Whenever I film a video on my cell phone I try to talk at a minimum, so I don't sound so stupid

    =P

  9. I hate hearing my voice on a video/recording...I sound like an idiot and when I ask other people they say I sound normal...your fine.

  10. everyones voice sounds weird to them when its recorded. dont worry, the recorder always changes it.

it makes you wonder what celebrities sound like in real life.

  11. When you listen to yourself you sound different then what other people hear.  I sound weird on tape.
