  1. What do you want to do with this????

  2. s = vt - (1/2)*g*t^2

    So, you're trying to isolate v:

    add -(1/2)gt^2 to both sides to get:

    vt = s + (1/2)*g*t^2

    Divide by t to obtain v:

    v = (s + (1/2)*g*t^2)/t

  3. s = v t - (1/2) g t ²

    v t = s + (1/2) g t ²

    v = s / t  + (1/2) g t

  4. it should have been s = vt + 1/2gt^2, not - 1/2gt^2

    this is the equation for the distance traveled in terms of time taken t, initial velocity v, and free falling acceleration g
