PLEASE HELP what do they perscribe for......?

paranoia?!?! I have an extreme SICKNESS and its paranoia. I have a doctors appointment next week and can barely even wait until then but I have to. I have gone to physciatrists and "talked" and nothing has worked. I was wondering what doctors do to help it paranoia/anxiety when it is over the top bad???

Could be bad anxiety which they will probably put you on a benzo like xanax, klonopin or ativan and/or an anti-depressant like prozac or zoloft. It could also be schizophrenia of the paranoia type (you don't have to hear voices to have schizophrenia), I have dealt with extreme paranoia and derealization and it turned out to be just extreme depression and anxiety.
