Who is in charge of all SUNY colleges or have some type of power over these colleges? I would like to know some contact information, emails, phone numbers.I have a problem with one of the SUNY schools and would love to light a fire underneath them. Or direct me to someone who might help. Thanks in advance.

  1. That would be the Chancellor of SUNY.  I am not sure if he can help, but you can try writing or calling him.

You can get the name of the (interim) Chancellor of SUNY from this web site:

The phone number for his office (and the address) are listed here:

  2. I can't help you, but I can offer some sympathy. . .I went to SUNY Plattsburgh and it was so terrible that I had to leave after a semester.

  3. There is a board of trustees that oversees governance of SUNY colleges, as well as a central administration, probably located in Albany.  Most of the colleges in the system are fairly autonomous, however.  There should be an ombudsman at either the college or the central admin level that you can contact.

PS Educational institutions do not easily have fires lit under them.  Good luck--SUNY has 64 institutions under it.
