  1. Nearly all sociological perspectives will explain the need for affiliation.

    Humans are social beings and gain much from being together in groups.

    Perhaps social interactionism explains it best in that it is a main factor of the socialisation process.

    How we relate to each other is extremely important in how we become adult human beings.
