PLEASE HELPPP URGENT? How do you get paint out of carpet?

Is this paint water based or not? If it is then you should try to get the excess paint out with water.

If you have already done this, then the next step is to get some Turpentine and remove the remaining paint with that. Turpentine has been used for years by artists and painters as a thinner. It is very good.

Any residue can be removed with carpet cleaners like Britex or Carpet Power. Once the carpet is clean and has no stains left was out these detergents with clear water. If the carpet still feels hard you might like to soften it with a softener like "Softly" or "Fluffy".

Once the carpet dries it should come up nice and soft and clean again.

Latex(water based)?  If still wet, lots of water and rags and dilute it away.

    You can try lacquer thinner on a rag and hold it over the paint(if it has dried)  It will soften the latex paint.and you can scrape it away with a scraper type tool. or a bristle brush.  

   Other than that you can cut the carpet out(if it is shag and re-glue ) clean strands from elsewhere   or you could paint the carpet to match the carpet....so it is not as noticeable.

If latex based, use water to dilute and a wet vac to pull the water out.  Pour more water on and agitate with a soft brush. Then use the wet vac some more.  If there is any tinge of paint colorant in the carpet, you can try cleaning the area with oxyclean-works pretty well.
