  1. The postal code for the St. James's Hospital area is Dublin 8

The first site below shows the postal districts in Dublin and the second site is for St. James's Hospital.

  2. Hi Aman,

There is no post code system as such in Ireland. However, they are planning to introduce one next year.

In Dublin, you have the postal district code (D1 to D24). Odd numbers are used for addresses on the Northside of the River Liffey, while even numbers are on addresses on the Southside.

You need the street name to find the postal district.

  3. hello amari you would need to know what part in dublin your sending to theres thousands of post codes if you said the place i could probably tell you

  4. hi there, anywhere near james' gate, guinness hop store , or thomas street is Dublin 8

dublin postcodes work like this.. all areas southside of the river liffey are numbered 2-24..but are even numbers only

all areas northside of the river are numbered 1-23...odd numbers only

so if you live in dublin 7 ( like me) then you know it's northside, and if it's Dublin 8, then it's the area around cornmarket, the liberties and james' street and hospital

  5. Hey there,

As long as you have the rest of the address correct you should be ok.

They dont use the codes the same way and many people fail to use them

It is probably Dublin 8  however.....

    Good luck.
