Okay....Before you say "Its a phase."

"You have no chance." "You have to have a LOT of commenment" or "BUILD A RESUME"

....I have a resume, A LOT of exspirence (9yrs of karate, 6yrs of ballet/tap/jazz, and 7yrs of hip-hop and plays, and workshop theaters for awhile now) I do have headshots, I'm going to be sending them into *legit* agents. And I have a huge amount of commientment this means the WORLD to me.......

So, I wanna be on Disney or maybe even Nickeloden...

I have been to that "BlogSpot" place, And 'D.S.'

so I know those websites. I'm 12. But, If they need a 14 year old I can look like it and if they need a 9-10yr old then I can make myslef look that young.

And before you say I'm doing it just for fame,

I'm not...I really love singing. And sure being in mags. is cool,

But I just wanna act and sing. ESP infront of a lot of people. Its just awesome Musics a new world!

So does anyone know anymore websites that have Disney or nick info about auditions?

Help me? :)

  1. As a music teacher I would suggest 1st become more active in maybe school productions or community programs that involve music and/or dance. Secondly, continue your training and lessons in this area.

If you're interested in auditions there are numerous sites to go to, but for something very simple and continuously updated, you can always visit www.craigslist.com and go to the one for your area. The have listing for auditions that are updated daily.

Just a side note...because of your age, have a parent or guardian go through these audition post with you. There are sometimes fake/ false ones.

  2. Your ability and experience are very intriguing. It seems your desire & passion to gointo Disney or Nickelodeon productions are very strong.

I've noticed that you haven't got any televised experience, though.Nickelodeon's Disney's actors & actress' have first hand experience on lower class television productions.

you would have to seek some lower classed auditions on television and then when there is a available spot You would be a likely candidate along with your strings of extra experience.

  3. hi i'm 13 and i'm also looking for any types of roles... anywhere. I have simple advice:

    1. Keep to your dream. Negative thoughts won't help.

    2. If you don't already have one, attempt to get an agent and ask specifically for any Disney role auditions. Even if it's one you don't want... TAKE IT! you have to start somewhere and if a role becomes open for Hannah Montana or anything YOU want, you will have an advantage becuase ur on another show.

Same as before even if an audition is not in Disney, Take It until an opening comes in a show you want. This will take a while but it is worth it.

  4. Thats pretty cool man.

  6. With all due respect, and as mentioned, at your age, you will definitely need parental involvement for another 6 years.

Disney has telephone #'s to call, in fact I answered a Q regarding that, some time ago, however, they are specific in what they expect or accept, for valid reasons. One of those reasons being someone who can do, and has professional credentials, that might at least get them an audition.

To call the #, one usually gets a voice mail answering machine, and it states that one of THEIR booking agents will call you back.

I'm not suggesting you don't try, but to be taken seriously in the craft, at age 12, given the type of experience you state, will be a tough job.

You will need those things suggested, and no offense, but Karate and Ballet might not be considered. My daughter did 10 years of both, and is not anywhere near wanting to be on stage. So in that regard "Phase", while it might sound insulting, might be accurate.

Certainly you aren't alone. If you look any time, even on the first page of Q's, you can see the majority want the same thing, and as novices, most seem to think that desire and an AGENT, are part of the path to MECCA. There in lies your other hurdle,,,Competition. An analogy might be, Millions might want to be on IDOL...1 gets chosen.
