Paddington or Bayswater TO GET AN HOTEL?

HELLO! I really don't know how zone to choose! We ( 2 ) need a central, cheap ( max £80/day/room ) and clean hotel in London. Looking for it on internet we found an hotel in each of these zones.

Are they safe zones? What about the nightlife? and the links with the centre ( also in the night ) ?

Which I have to choose?

THANK YOU FROM ITALY!

  1. I have seen you post this question several times today and i am sorry nobody saw fit to answer. I am a Londoner but no longer live there. Bayswater is West London which is closer to nightlife than Paddington. I am not up to date but this used to be a fairly safe area. Paddington has a very large railway station and at one time did have a reputation for prostitution. If i had to choose i think i would go for Bayswater.  All of London can be accessed by the underground and this is probably the fastest safest means of travel. Hope this helps.

  2. Check this http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Cit...

  3. Bayswater. More of a nightlife, and close to centre.

  4. Coincidence, I happen to live in bayswater and used to live in paddington personally i prefer bayswater its much safer than paddington quite a posh place, great night life lots of clubs around if your that sort of person its 5 minuets walk to notting hill and 7 to kensinghton high street, 3 minutes to hydepark and and 3-6 bus stops to oxford depending on how deep you would like to go,

a great hotel i recomend you is one in the bayswater area

  5. Paddington and Bayswater are so close that it doesn't really matter where you stay. Both are nice areas and have good transport connections in to central London. There are night buses that can take you home from the city. Not much nightlife around there except for pubs but Oxford circus is only 15 minutes away by bus. You should search for hostels in those areas as they are cheaper than the hotels. Take a look on this website:

    Good luck
