PLEASE NEED HELP BADLY ?

Question

so i went to the dentist and told her my teeth hurts, and sore and my other symptoms. Then she told me to take some meds and after i brush my teeth i should wash my mouth for 30 seconds with salt water three times. What does the salt water do? does anyone know anything about this, and what does mouth washing your mouth with salt water do?

It's an inexpensive anti-bacterial agent. Very old school- and very effective. It also works for sore throats.

Salt is commonly used as a edible cleaning factor. Using salt water can one way or another wash away the dirt and promote healthy life style.

BUT it doesn't mean drinking a lot of salt water is good for health.

It changes the ph in the mouth and makes it less hospitable to the bad bacteria.
