Question

ok, i ordered a live microworm culture and it came in and it looks like a tanish thickgunk stuff.

is this a microworm starter culture?!?

it smells bad if that helps..

i tried putting in on top of the oatmeal with yeast thing.

Yeah it sounds like the starter culture. Just make the oatmeal like you would want to eat it, boiling water to a thick consistancy.  Dont make it to dry though it has to have moisture for the culture to kick off. Spread the porridge over the top of the oatmeal and allow it to cool off. When it cools it should be rubbery in consistancy to where it wont stick to your fingers when you touch it.  Now spread your culture in the center of it and place a few pin holes on a lid and cover the container. About 48 hours you should start to see the worms multiply and climb the side of the tub.
