Ok,

I start school in september and i have no idea what to expect. I am going to be a sophmore and i REALLY want this to be a good year.

MY History:

8th grade i develop anxiety issues where i have a disease in which i go to the bathroom when i am nervous. I feel like i gotta go but i really dont. I end up immediately panicking and asking to go and when i do go nothing happens.

9th grade i start off with no problems. Around late October these problems develop again.

Now i am going into 10th grade with 2 questions

1. How do i calm down my nerves?

2. How do i train myself not to feel like i gotta go?

PLEASE Star/Answer

  1. It sounds like your having panic attacks.  Are you using "having to go" to get out of stressful situations?

You need to talk to your physician about this.  He may be able to give you something to help you.

Also you should read a book by Rev. Robert Schuller called "Self Love".  I has some very good advice.  Helped me.

  2. This has happened to me too when I get a panic attack or general stress er.

You can take some over the counter anti gas pills that you can chew during class or take some Pepito bis mo b4 you leave 4 school  this will settle your stomach.

If this is a condition that you can verify with a doctors note , by all mean make all your teachers aware of it so that you can come and go to the restroom with out having to ask.

I think you also should see a therapists to help you cope with this problem.

If I was your Mom i would contact the school and give them the doctors note and e mail all the teachers and your school counselors so they would be sensitive to your situation.

The school has to make arrangements to help you with this problem and you need to make sure they are aware so you do not have to worry are much when school starts.

  3. It may be a good idea to talk to someone about these anxiety issues.  since i'm assuming they only happen at school.  you really don't have to worry that much.  every just appears gilded.  theres always more to someone that meets the eye.  cheer up man.
