What do you think? I need to kill 2 birds with one stone here. I don't have much time to work out and muscle train at the same time. So, I was wondering if I could do both? I'm 16, 150lb, and 5'1''.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Thanks in advance!!!! :D

  1. Well, you already know that jumping rope is an excellent cardio workout, but I think you're asking if it can also make you stronger and take the place of weight training.  The answer is not really.  A weighted rope will work your shoulder muscles a little and will probably have some benefit, but won't be able to take the place of an upper body workout.  At least combine it with push ups...that will help some.

  2. I think it should work. It makes sense that it would to be honest.

I was your height and weight when I was 14/15 (3-4 years ago) ... I started playing tennis once a week and talking long walks every night (take your iPod - it won't feel like a chore!) and I toned up a LOT!

    Good luck!
