I got some Elephant ear, or Caladium in my mouth and spit it out. It caused pretty horrible burning and I made it stop relatively by drinking relatively large amount of water. I did not swallow it, it just came in contact with my mouth. For those who know what they are talking about:

1. What will be symptoms? How severe is it?

2. How do I stop/relieve these symptoms? Is there anything I can do to stop it that I haven't done?

Please tell me all I need to do because I don't want anything bad to happen due to not knowing.

Thanks in advance.
