hi sorry about the big title i tried to catch your attention any way i have a new foal but i dont have a name for it i need help she is black but might turn grey with a white blaze on her forehead.

she will probably turn the colour of this pony http://www.irishpony.com/gallery.php log onto that and look for lishmar brona .

i want to call it something like a stone her mothers name is ruby and her great grandmothers name is pearl what will i call her please please help!!!

First, to Angels S: sapphires are not always blue- there are pink and yellow ones in existance. Likewise, garnets also come in other colors besides dark red. There are white garnets, which resemble diamonds when cut correctly and kept clean, and there is also a blue variety which looks a lot like a sapphire but is not. These are very rare, yes, but they exist. Peridots are not always light green, either- I have seen white ones, and most of the opals I have seen are WHITE, not pink.

To the asker: Have you thought of calling your new filly Pearl or Rose? Or, since it sounds like she may end up being a blue roan, Black or Blue Pearl or Rose? Just a thought.
