PLEASE help me!? Y!A pics???

Question

i cant figure out how to get my 360 picture as my avatar! right now, it is set on that and it is just showing the shadow thing!!!! please! i already made a 360... both ways, i have NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING WRONG!!!

o btw, im new to Y!A

i had the same problem as most people did, you are not doing anything wrong, yahoo 360 just has been dealing with some internal f**t bugs and is working them out, i hate those corny looking avatars!!

Click on your current avator with no picture. Now look over to the top right and it should say public view of me profile, and edit my profile. Click on edit my profile and you will see three holes you can highlight. One I think says no picture, one says use my cartoon picture or whatever it is, and the other says use my 360 screenname. Higlight use my 360 screen name, and you click ok or whatever it says on the bottom to save it. Then you should have your picture shown to everybody on YAHOO. Hope I helped, good luck!

Well.. my friend.. don't feel lonely in your plight! I bet this same question is asked here at least 20 times a day.

Yahoo is doing some changing of the 360 site.. a new profile platform is what they keep telling us they are doing.

Anyway they have stopped doing maintenance on our 360's about 4 months ago.. or more..

This issue you are having is a very common one.. You can read about this transition and why we are falling apart in the 360 by going to the top of any of your 360 pages and clicking onto the Yahoo360News option there.. it will link you .. "MAYBE" ... to the 360 Product Blog. This is all the information anyone has about the problems and promises Yahoo has made to and for us.

It takes them a while to approve any image you upload. I think it took like a week almost before my current avatar was displayed.
