okay so in the past 70 watever hours ive slept 3 hours. i went to bed at 7am and woke up at 10am. so youd think it being 1230am id be tired? NO i treid watching tv. i treid shutting all thel ights off and laying there for an hour with a clear mind, counted sheep. listened to my ipod took nyquil.

i can't sleep. at all. i think its messing with me cuz i started like bawling out of nowhere. i wanna sleep so bad but i'm running out of stuff. and don't say warm milk...doesn't work.

is this a sleeping disorder/ idk help haha

  1. F*ck Nyquil, you need good ol' fashion sleeping PILLS.  I don't know if you have any lying around your house, but take six Tylenol PM's with hot tea (helps disolve pills faster) and you'll be out cold within a half hour...

    ...Or if that doesn't work you could try Mike's method.  He seems to know what he's talking about.

  3. I'm normally running on two hours of sleep but i also have insomnia.

    =P

    Your body can only handle no sleep for about a week, Trust me, You will sleep eventually.

    Now, It really depends on how often you do this. Everyone has times when they have weird sleeping patterns. Life can do that to you, if you are under any kind of stress or feeling depressed then thats the problem right there.

    If you feel it is serious then theres nothing wrong with seeing a doctor and listening to what they might suggest. Maybe not sleeping pills but a light anti anxiety pill to help you relax around bed time.

    Medication doesn't have to be some big scary thing, remember that they are made to help you, not make you worse and they Can help you immensely.

    In the meantime, try not to eat or drink anything for about an hour before bed. A decent amount of exercise during the day can help a lot.

    And..hmm, just try not to think to much about "I need to get to sleep!" xP just try to clear your mind or focus on your breathing.

  5. maybe do some laps around the block to make you sleepy or try reading a book.  Reading helps to make you sleep well it makes me sleepy lol

  8. work out for an hour. careful you might fall asleep.

    seriously. after 80-100 hours th body might just shut off in order to get esential sleep. Don't leave any dagnerous objects near by.

  9. Anxiety can do these things to you.  Depression can also cause similar symptoms.

    Point is, you have to see a professional to get the proper help.  Start with your family doctor.  This is a treatable condition.  Lots of people have it.  No need to be ashamed or afraid of it.  Just get treated for it.

  10. yeah that def. sounds like a sleeping disorder to me dear. I have a similar problem to where I never sleep and i'm always up which isn't good. trying doing some kind of activity to wear you out such as starting out with like 20 sits ups or pushups per night and uppering the number each night  before you go to sleep that way they wear you out and hopefully it will make you sleep better =] best of  luck dear

  11. You should get some sleeping pills. Not sleeping enough hours is not good and you could die from this.
