  1. a. E=f*s

    b. E=(v*m)/2

    c. E=g/3v

    d. E=MGm/R2

    I hope this helps... I can't remember any of the constants

  2. you re-arrange the equations. like this

    f=E/S

    multiply both sides by S

    fS=E

  3. a. E=fs

    b. E=(mv)/2

    c. E=g/3v

    d. E= m(MG) / R2

    hope this helps

  4. A: F

    B: A

    C: I

    D: L

  6. Have you taken algebra yet? it's the same rules when you solve for x. just shift it around until E is on one side by itself. to move it to the other side, reverse the operation. add instead of subtract, multiply instead of divide.

    picture them as numbers if you'd like. i'll give you an example:

    m (MG) = E R2 You can take away the paranthess when there's nothing else on this sidee

    m (MG) / R2 = E

  7. Actually, this is nothing to do with Chem, it is algebra.

    a. f = E/S

    so... to get E by itself multiply the S

    so... f x S = E

    b. Same thing, multiply by v, divide by 2

    c. A little harder, multiply by E, divide by 3v ( with experiance you learn to switch them.)

    d. ohhhh, I'll leave this one as a bonus with you! Remember to use your algebra!
