straight. i studied this last year. unfortunately i'm not really sure how to explain why. i know why, but ain't good at explaining. check out the other answers.

Hi Amy.  First, I think you meant "widows peak" a form of hair recession in men.  Dominant characteristics vs. recessive characteristics mean that if a Dominant is present, it will be manifest.  So in your first case with a Ww phenotype, the dominant feature W or Widows peak would be present...so "a" is the answer.

In the second case, two RECESSIVE genes are present cc, so straight hair would be the phenotype.
