i have hazel eyes

and a light tan

at the moment i have long dark brown hair but i would like a change

what colour would suit my eyes?

Hold up cloth to your face (or even paper) of the colour you are thinking of. See how it looks with your skin.

For people with a lot of pink undertones, dying your hair RED, is a horrible idea, etc.

Also, people who come from asian, hispanic, etc descent look nicer with darker hair as opposed to blond.

For you, I'd go with chestnut brown :)

hazel eyes suit any colour, but red heads are prettier with blue/green eyes and hazel eyes will look a bit drab.

maybe have a purple/red tint on top of your dark hair

I think that you should put some blonde highlights through it ( i did this and have the same colouring as you ) after a while of gradually putting blonde into my hair i went full head blonde and it really suits me, good luck =]
