PLEASE help with my marketing homework. 10 points?

I've done most of them, but I can't figure these few out.

It says to circle the term that does not belong then explain why you think it doesn't belong.

The ones I have left are...

1. Form, place, price, possession

2.Catalogs, stores, web sites, blimps

and

3. 24-hour service, clocks, longer holiday hours, fast food.

  1. Heres my answers:

    Possession doesnt fit - the others are all attributes of a product

    Blimps doesnt fit - the other three are found in abundance and are places you can buy things.When is the last time you saw a blimp flying around?

    Clocks doesnt fit - all the others focus on time factor in purchase decision


  2. Hey V. I'm a marketing VP, so here's my best guesses:

    1. Posession. Form, Place and Price are attributes of the product/service. Posession is not.

    2. The obvious answer is "blimps," because it's the only one you can't buy something from. But it seems too easy.

    3. Tough one. The only thing I can figure is "fast food" as the others deal with elements of time.  

  3. 1.  possession doesn't fit (not part of the marketing mix)

    2). I think this is a trick one - you advertise/promote in catalogs, on web sites, on the sides of blimps, and in stores.  But if I had to pick one - I'd say stores doesn't fit as it is not an advertising/marketing 'vehicle'.

    3) I think clocks don't fit:  24 hr service, longer holiday hours, fast food all relate to service levels or service provided.  Clocks just tell time.
