i'm 22 years old.

I'm a transfer student(Northeastern) going on my 3rd year of college this fall .

i'd like to join a sorority.

Do you guys think i'm too old (i've heard that members are around 19)

Also, should i consider a black sorority since i'm black?

i'm not sure i would fit in a sorority where over 95% of girls are white.

i would love to be in a diverse sorority or a black one.

What do you think?

  1. if it's something you really want you should go for it this is your chance. a few years older is gonna hurt you, maybe they'll look up to you who knows. you should check out the diff sororities and see which one you like. although let me say my friend always wanted to be in one and after she joined she realized it was no big deal. if you don't get to do it, it probably won't matter in the bigger scheme of things, it's just a couple of years out of your life. good luck!

  2. well are you worrie about joining a sorority or being black it's like you said you need to go whare you fill the best.diverse or not or is it the white girls? i am sure they are not worried about you you have my word on it. good luck.

  3. Go ahead and join theres no age limit on making friends, try reaching out of your comfort zone to meat new people, you might enjoy yourself more

  4. at 22 i should think you would invest your energy into your studies and worry less about sororities and the like.
