Call the company you travelled with. If you know the company post it on here and I will try to get the number for you.

try googling it? if you've lost an expensive or seriously vital item, you could ring the police.

Call the bus company you traveled with. The number should be on the ticket, if not, google it. They'll put you through to your local depot who will tell you if they've found it.

If you use the route on a regular basis, just ask the bus driver where the garage is & if he has a number you can ring - if the same bus company runs several routes in the area from the same garage, you can ask any of the drivers

If anyone found your stuff, they'll have handed it to the driver & he should have handed it into the lost and found at the garage he drives out of

If you live in the Torbay Area, you will have most likely lost it on a Stagecoach in Devon Bus. You will need to contact them. You should be able to find their telephone number in a phone book, alternatively you can use www.stagecoachbus.com/devon. There isn't a national helpline in the UK, due to the bus industry being deregulated & normally privatised. (IE Arriva will have different number to Stagecoach)
