Ok I just got my G.C.S.E results and I`ve got a D for chemistry and my father is disappointed with me he really wanted me to pass so i can go on to do a-level Chemistry.

the thing is last year when I did my g.c.s.e in high school I just missed out I ended up with 4 g.c.s.e`s.So this year i took resits so I can pass and take at least 3 A-levels especially chemistry but i missed out which means i won`t be able to do A-level chemistry.

I have a brother and sister but they not as brainy as me and haven`t done so well so my dad said I was the "only real hope" to do something and achieve good grades. He was really optimistic about me and believed in me more then any of my siblings.

I would put the blame on myself cos i wasn`t motivated enough so I can`t say I tried my best and of course I regret it now.

How am I suppose to explain this to him?He is really disappointed.I know I can try again but that will take away another year from my studies and will make it too long.Is there anything I can do?

  1. 1 Don't do it for your dad.  If it is what you want, do it for yourself.

#2 Nope, nothing to do about it now.
