and i don't have a exercise bike

It's called a bike trainer. Don't get one from off the TV, as they are garbage. Go to a bike shop or sports store. They should have a variety to choose from based on how much you want to spend.

I agree with the other answers, it is called a bike trainer. You really should check one out at a sports or cycle shop, and the cycle shop should let you try it. There are several different kinds, some with rollers and some where you have to take a wheel off.

They are called trainers, there are several different types.  Amazon has a boat load of them.  Thinking about getting one myself for the winter.

As others have said, you are looking for a trainer.  I've got an older model of this one:

It is fairly inexpensive, holds the bike steady and provides are variety of levels of resistance.
