Okay I will be going to Poland with my mom this vacation sometime in August. Well the only problem is that we need tickets first! Also we're on a vacation budget however we do not need to worry about a hotel b/c we are staying at my grandmother's. Also we would preferably like it to be a nonstop travel flight w/o any stops or changing planes etc. I WILL BE DEPARTING FROM JFK IN NEW YORK.

Go to expedia.com and orbitz.com and check your tickets there.

Look at the tickets, and then if you see companies like United and American Airlines having tickets for cheap, go to their website and type in the same info.  Sometimes you can get tickets even cheaper at their websites.

Go to Kayak.com and check it out with your dates. It fetches you rates from other good sites too.  You have not indicated where in Poland you are going, so it will be difficult to help you. August the fares will still be high.. and even though your trip is in August, it is better you start looking now..Lufthansa, Polish Air, United flights are available and the fare is approx 1200-1300. Some websites give a lower fare but then they do not include the taxes or may have at least one stop, when you add the taxes, you find it adds a lot to the fare.
