  1. google "bmi calculator" and that will give you a number...whatever number you get corresponds to whether you are underweight, normal, overweight, or obese.

  2. A healthy weight range for someone who is 5'4" is 117 to 146 pounds. So you are not overweight. You are right in the middle of what's healthy for your height.

  3. Your mom is crazy and you should ignore her.

    Your at a perfect weight.

    Be happy with yourself...your mom's

    opinion shouldn't matter.

  4. At 5'4" and 12 years old, you are probably a little heavier than you need to be, but you aren't fat by any means.  I wonder, though, if your mother is more concerned with your SIZE.  Someone who works out, or is athletic and very active, is going to have toned muscles.  Toned muscles take up less room than flabby muscles.  So if you stood next to another person who is 12 and is your exact height and weight, but they work with weights and walk/run and do other activities, they could be one or even two sizes smaller than you.

Find out about adding other exercises to your running to tone up your arms and abs and legs and behind.  And be sure to get your mom to do a good set of measurements before you begin, then have her measure you once a month.  You may not see any changes with the weight on the scale, but in just a month or two you should see definite results with the tape measure.

  5. You're not so fat as your mom think

  6. if u were a guy o prob

but i think ur a girl

but everyone grow at there own rate

  7. no you are not fat

  8. do sit-ups/crunches if it bothers you. When i was 5'4 i was like 115 but i was like 9 years old.iam 6ft 165lbs now.

  9. Lmao, seriously?

You're 12. It's baby fat and it's not even that fat

you're mom is just a hypocrite.

    You're perfectly fine.

  10. Your Body Mass Index is 22.3. This means your weight is normal for your height.

Ignore your mother. maybe it's her time of the month.

  11. Listen to your Mom but at the same time ask her what does she think I should do to drop the excess weight. Your Mom doesn't say that to hurt your feelings. She says that because she sees it and wants her baby to look beautiful and healthy. 130 and 5'4' at 12 is a little over but I think you know that. I know it's hard to eat sensible but when schools offer potato wedges, pudding and brownies as a lunch, you are left with little choice. The media and advertising are also bombarding the networks with heavenly goo that tastes and looks great so I am on your side. It is tough now days to satisfy everyone. My best advice is the next time you go to your Doctor, be brave and discuss your weight with that person for an honest opinion and advice. Good Luck.

  12. you are just fine i am 145 you are just fine okay

  13. Personally I don't think you are fat at all if anything you may be a little curvy from the running which is a good thing. It sounds as if your mom is insecure about her own body and taking it out on you which is NOT a good thing. Perhaps you could have your doctor talk to your mom and tell her that you are at a healthy weight, keep up the good work and take care of yourself and do what's right for YOU,no one else!!

  14. be like mom

    S my D

    lol

    who cares?

be happy with your self bro

its your body, your the one who is stuck in it

    :)

  15. I'm 5'4.5" and weigh 115 lbs. I have a small bone structure, so I could stand to lose 5-10 lbs.

You're definitely not fat.Just try to eat healthier. Consuming dairy is not an optimal way of absorbing calcium or protein. Plant sources are better.

  16. No, you are not FAT by far, as 5'4" and 130 is a pretty healthy weight. Not only is your mom being rude by calling you fat, she is also wrong.

You need to eat a lot for your proper growth of your muscles, tissues, bone mass, etc. So whatever you do, don't cut your calories. If anything, exercise for an hour 3-5 days per week and that alone should help you drop a few pounds.

Do some research, calculate your height and weight into a BMI calculator; prove to her you are not fat according to your height and weight.

  17. Cut out gluten.

It is found in wheat products, but not all. You can still eat some porridges, some bread. But just look on the label and it will tell you if it contains gluten or not.

I think that for 5'4 you should be about 118-120.
