PLZ big advice! about the contraception implant!docs nurses?

Question

I have had mine i my arm 3years on august the 18th just gone, an they cant get me an appointment until the 15 september to have it taken out.

I have a couple questions

The main one is i have had s*x with my partner after this date an am really worried about if i could get pregnant.??

The other thing i am worried about is are there any side affects for leaving it in until 15th?

please only answer if you know i am worried about it enough thank xx

1. Take a pregnancy test.

2. Next time use a condom untill you get the new one in.

2. If it would cause a problem then they would make every effort to get it taken out on time.

There is a large built in safety margin with all implants. It will not suddenly turn off at midnight on the 18th August!

You will neither get pregnant, nor suffer any side effects by leaving it in place until 15th September. I presume you are having another one inserted?
