  1. OMG techteach03

    MADE ME LAUGH LOL.

anyways, writing in pen or pencil doesn't effect the test. unless you shaded on your scantron with a pen instead of pencil, then THAT's a different story.

Well, you're fine. Just fix your gammars & spelling first before anything. Get more practice. :) (not to be mean lol)

  2. if you wrote on the exam the way you wrote here it wouldn't matter if you wrote it in goat's blood...i wouldn't grade your essay based on the fact that very little of your writing is even proper english...i'm sure the # of points taken off wouldn't cause a good essay to fail...but in your case you may need every point you can get...

  3. I used to do test scoring for a national company.  You are probably fine.  The test scorers are scoring your answer sheets and your answers.  There is no mechanism that we ever used for deducting points for students not following directions unless it directly affected the answer.  Writing in pencil wouldn't affect scoring a multiple choice test.

So I wouldn't worry about it.

  4. Pablo, no offense, but I think you've got bigger problems than using pencil instead of pen. Is English your first or second language? You're more likely to get a teacher to take your question seriously if you at least use spell check.

I didn't intend this to be mean-spirited, I'm just trying to help you out a little.

    Good luck!

  5. When it comes to standardized tests, many times a MACHINE reads or scans the answers to be scored.  If a pencil is required, it's because the machine only detects pencil lead.  If a pen is required, it's because the machine cannot read anything but dark pen ink.  This definitely sounds like a question that should have been asked before you took the test, as well as the next time if you are asked to do something in pen or pencil, then you should do it in what is asked of you.  There are usually solid reasons for it!
