PLease Quick answers on Student visa?

Question

is it possible for me to obtain student visa from Egypt if i am NOT FROM THERE.? i go to Cairo Univ. and i want to study one year in the US. My country does not have US embassy so i cant go back there and get visa from there.

please help..thank you.

Yes, you can apply for one, if you've been accepted by an American university, have received an I-20 from the school and are registered in SEVIS. If you're currently living in Egypt, there should be no problem in applying there.
