Ok, so i had an ovary removed a year ago [i'm 13]. My period is like 4 days late [not pregnant, haha], but i've been getting some cramps and stuff for the past four days anyway. Is it possible for me to get cramps but no period due to the lack of an ovary?

  1. It's called a phantom pain. When a person looses a limb sometimes they feel and itch although the limb is no longer there.

However I don't know who you are or anything about what your going through.

I strongly suggest going to the doctor or the ER for pain.

Watch out for a fever as well. Pain is a signal that something is not right, severe pain means something is wrong completely. Pain is not normal so to speak. It is the way your body tells you that you are sick.

Even cramps are abnormal for periods, common but not normal.

Severe cramps can mean something as common as a cyst, or something dangerous.

You must determine your level of pain. Not by how much you can stand BUT determine if this is chronic, if you have had this pain before and how severe it is ( could you sleep through it ).

Use your better judgement and possibly seek some help.

Remeber that pain is not normal and a doctor's job is to help you no matter how minor it may turn out to be.

  2. it will come in the next few days babe xx

  3. Oh, sorry. I think it is quite possible try looking it up on google or asking your mom or another female she may knwo a thing or two about it.

  4. It is very possible. Your body is just getting used to the fact that it has to work with only one ovary now. So yes there may be cramps and no period for the first year or so
