I have had a girl mouse that i got at petco three days ago, and a boy that i got when weaned from my cousin... and its 7 weeks now, still tiny... and they havent mated yet, the boy dont act interested in here at all... will they mate? Everyone in my family wants a mouse, and i want to give them some...

have u researched about breeding first> the girl should be older than 4 months or there will be comlications. you shouyldn't breed until you know all there is to know cos you might be in trouble when there are hundreds of mice with no whre to go but pet shops which treat them cruelly

they  must not be in love.

try to find another mouse

ask a local vet.

they will probabaly tell you why

(do it over the phone)

so they dont end up tagging you w/ a bill)

if you put them together, and she is in heat, thre is a very lagre chanse they will mate, she could have more babies or way less than u plan, mine had 13 babies......be carefull, u have no idea when u are getting ur self into, inless u read up on mouse pregnancies, just search ask.com type is breeding mice and click a web site that sounds like it would help, anyother questions you have just e-mail me

I'm sure they'll mate when they're ready. Mice don't mate for the h**l of it like humans and dolphins do. She just isn't ready yet and when she is, he'll be there....

They are too young. The boy will mate when it is 8 weeks old.

just wait a week or 2 and see if theyre ready. u could also call up a vet or mouse breeder and ask them how old they are usually mate. i think its 8 weeks but im not sure. hehehehe. just be aware that u could end up with a whole lot of naked little baby mice. but then again you could end up with not that much. my mouuse had 15 babys and it was at like, 3 in the morning but luckely i was still up. but do alot of research and dont make promises to alot of people that you ill give them a baby because the mother might not have that many. or he's g*y. either one. tehehhehehehehe ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me!!
