If current out of positive terminal of an element is i=5e^(-10t)A and voltage is v=3i V, find the energy (absorbed or released?) by the element between 0 to 50ms

  1. what that one dude said....in addition get a TI-89 and learn how to use it to solve equations....the best tool I ever bought for EE school.  Well worth the $150 at the time.


  2. What you do is use the power formula P=VI first to get power.

    This gives P=15e^(-10t) A

    Since power = W/t (work in energy over time) you can integrate the power (P) with respect to time (t) from 0 to 50ms to get the energy.
