  1. Defiantly release the turtle.

  2. if i were u id check if the ponds were the same ecologically. if not return it to its old pond. a new pond may have a different element in it

  3. let him go free, like a eagle, soaring throughout the great skies of america....

my friends call me the soaring eagle cause im soooooooo cool

  4. you need to put him back where you got him tomorrow,he will be ok tonight. Unless you know that the same kinda turtles live in the bigger pond..

Have any lettuce? they love greens..

  5. it depends on how long you had it.  if it was a short time releasing it shouldn't' hurt it. but if it's been awhile find a shelter to take it in.

  6. It was in the pond it was in for a reason, and could be carrying parasites or bacteria/viruses that aren't present in another water body. Introduce a new turtle to a new habitat, not only does the new turtle not know the social structure (yes, there's a social structure, look at what happens when you put a new turtle in a tank.), it's homing instict will probably cause it to try to return to the pond you took it from, most likely resulting in road mortality.

Take it back to where you found it and let it go.

  7. let it go to the nearest river or pond. It will not survive for long (depending on the size) in a pot. Release the turtle right away

  8. i agree . release it

  9. Release it ASAP- your cares, while well-intended, are not good for it.

It is always best to release caught animals as close to their home as possible- it is a better judge of what it wants than we are, and it already knows its home territory.
