Hello Ladies,

For the past couple of years, I have noticed that my PMS symptoms have gotten worse. Not so much the cramping and body aches but the moodiness. Can anyone else relate to this? If so, what do you recommend that I do to help me not act so b*tchy? I can't help it! :(

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  1. This is from the Mayo Clinic on the topic of PMS, including various types of remedies.  There is also a medication on the market for treatment of PMS disorders, but I don't know how bad your PMS has to be to qualify for it.

Good luck and yes, I remember those days....

  2. I'm the same way.  At first I wasn't to moody, at least I could hide it.  But time before last it was so BAD!  I started calling every one a Jackass!  LOL.  It wasn't funny at the time, But It was soooooo a kodak moment.  But the people I was calling jackass's didn't think so .  You might have PDDS.  It's a very bad form of pms moodiness.

There's not to much we can do about it.  In the UK people take "St. Johns Wart" and swear that it works, I've never tried it though.  Your doctor will have a better Idea of how to treat you symtoms.  I hope I helped you, Good luck!

  3. My PMS began during my thirties and grew steadily more severe. It got to the point that I could recognize its onset because I would have a thought like "Why is EVERYBODY ELSE so ****** up?!!" lol

Once I had that extreme reaction to something I would totally police what I was doing and saying for the next 24 hours or so when it would subside and I would be back to my normal self. Mine was that predictable and consistant and I got good at controlling my behavior during those times so as not to come off as a total *****.

However if you are having really severe PMS, you may want to see your doctor or naturopath to find ways to ease the symptoms.

    Best of luck to you.
