i have a chimchar and the egg moves it learns are like thunderpunch and fire puch and i want to brreed and have a chimchar with those 2 movies ...( look at the link it says i can use ampharos to do it // http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/egg/390.shtml#thunderpunch

so do i need to have a female chimchar and a male ampharos ? cus i just tried it and the egg i got had a chimchat but with the moves scartch and leer...someone help understand step by step how to get e chimchar with thunderpunch and fire punch ... look at that link its there but i dont know how..

make sure that Ampharos knows the moves Thunderpunch and Firepunch already prior to putting them in the daycare together..

but you DO have the right set up, female chimchar/monferno/infernape, and a male ampharos that KNOWS the egg moves that you want to pass on..

To get your Ampharos to learn Firepunch you need to have some Heart Scales and visit the move teacher that lets pokemon relearn moves that its forgotten, Firepunch will be one of the first moves available to teach.. Thunderpunch is a level 30 move that ampharos gets so if your Ampharos is >30 and doesn't have it you need to have another heart scale to reteach it that move.

BOTH of the pokemon need to have the moves you want if you want the egg pokemon to have those moves (If you do it like that.)

A better way to do it would be to get a Ditto (need PokeRadar) and take your Chimchar (either male or female) with the moves you want the egg to have and breed it with the Ditto. Your egg will have those moves! WIth any other pokemon other than Ditto you need to have BOTH pokemon have the moves you want your egg to have.
