Gas prices are going sky-high and looks like the sky's the limit.

$4-5/Gal gas is having a major impact on most budgets.

So, with that in mind, here's the chance to vent a bit...

Tell us:

**How many miles per week do you travel to and from work?

**How much of your budget are you paying for gas for your car?

**Have you cut back on:

1) going out to eat?

2) going out to the movies?

  1. Wow!, that's just sad...

well to make things in a more simple way and save money I go by bus.

  2. I only work 2 miles from work.  If I did not have three kids to take to day care and school in the morning, then I would walk or ride my bike.  I just can't carry the kids on these better options.  However, since I'm close, gas is not too expensive for me.  I spend about $50.00 or less a month.   Our average is $3.00/gallon here.

I am a recipe/cooking addict so it usually costs less for us to eat out.  I have two fridges and three freezers full of food and always ready to throw a party.  My food budget is the highest, at $300.00 per week, but that's my entertainment, fun and livelyhood.  I have no movie money budget.  I could care less about going to the movies or watching TV, but I do sometimes - rarely.

This was a great question.  Thanks.

  3. So many people are.  We need a president that can get control of this absurdity. In the Ralph Nader web-site, he claims that exxon-Mobil executives are making $50,000 a day. And they said the telephone company was an evil monopoly!!! If gas prices go any higher, the whole country will slow down worse than it already has. In England, you can buy an A3 Audi turbo-diesel that gets 59.7 MPG highway and 39.7 MPG city. (average 49.7) But we can't get these cars here. Somethings got to give!!!!! This little autbahn stormer goes 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and has a top speed of 138 MPH. Domestic cars are lucky to get around 22MPG.  What a rip-off for the American consumer!!!! Where is sanity???
