POLL: Do you think that Disney characters are freaky...?

.. a few days ago we had been to visit Disney Land Paris, and the characters were sooo cute, but someone over my shoulder was screaming at her child not to hug the character because he might be a (whisper) pedo.. =[

Well,I've always had my suspicions about the duck with the

speech impediment. He seems to spend a lot of time hanging out with those three nephews of his,

if you know what I mean.

I don't think so! I recently went to Disneyworld and my friends and I got pictures with as many as we could (we are in high school).

I think that the person may have been over reacting a tad or may have had a bad experiance as a child. Might have been some one who has an alcohol problem or simply on drugs.

The characters and people dressed up in costumes, the staff are highered who have a outstanding personality etc, to try uphold the Disney Brand that every one is familiar with.

Chances are that character could have took off the mask of the costume and it would have turned out to be a woman.

Then what would that screaming mother have to say for her self? - Personally I would have thought she would have looked foolish.

There are alot of people who have attention dissorders, where they crave attention and drama in their lives.

That could simply have been one of them, I would ignore that person, dont look or read into other peoples actions too much and live and learn by your own and those who are most closest to you.

Here is some examples:

Friend of mine, looks happy, she has 2 kids a house a job and career, loves her children to bits and been with her man for 4-5 yrs.

Happy family?

No ive spoken to her bloke whilst out and about, and turns out you find out that what looks to be a perfect household isnt quite so perfect.

You can be at work and work with a team of people, you could be done for lates and dissaplined whilst you think your favourite team member is getting away with it, turns out you both could have been warned equally, or another example that your on a team of people and one was once a criminal.

The point of these examples is...

People try to paint a description of them selves as they ideally would like to be seen as by others, when infact the situation is totally different.

Dont believe everything you see and hear. Focus on your own life and be vigilant so that your always safe you will find that its the best way forward in life not to read into what others do too much (like that woman shouting at her child)

There is 1000s of people at Disney Land Paris, if one was a peodophile there would have been complaints through out the year on that person, and if one mother was able to tell though a body suit without seing their face, then so would 1000s of other moms and would have complained.

Think she was just being histerical, pathetic and attracting attention to her self

ANSWER: They might APPEAR "freaky" - but I really can't see the Disney Corporation taking ANY chances with the people they employ, especially those working with children !

Understand this, the folks that did the Disney Characters where kids that grew up in the farming areas of the country back in the 20s when Mickey Mouse came to be.

The guys that did the other cartoons, the ones where the character is more of a city personality, where from - the city.

So freaky, it's all what ever it takes to float your boat.
